Is it possible to set my 2008 for the doors to automatically lock AFTER the car begins to move forward? The same feature is present in my MDX.

You can't change anything with your current Prius, but there are aftermarket devices you can buy and install which will do the trick.

Great. Thought so, but hoped for an Easter egg.

Unfortunately no....but you can still have the doors locked by 'automatically' move your left hand finger to the door-lock button and press on it after the car begins to move. It works for me everytime and no cost.

    No prob.....
Ironically, the Prius has ton of many gadgets compare to Toyota's normal car lines, just auto-lock is not one of them...duh!

That's okay by me. I find autolocking doors incredibly annoying. It's interesting how one person's annoyance is another person's "must have" feature.
