I am planing to install aftermarket front seats headrest with DVD to my 2008 prius.

The problem is that the aftermarket headrest DVDs I purchased came covered in gray leather and my car came with gray fabric interior.

I have checked with local toyota to see how I can order some factory gray fabric material but they tell me that toyota does supply spare fabric but only complete seats ( according to them not even original sea covers)

Does anyone know from where I can purchase original fabric material to cover the new headrests to match my interior.

    Appreciate any help

I can't tell you exactly but.....there are MANY auto upholstery installers that have catalogs with pretty much EVERY fabric installed in EVERY car for the past thirty years. Suggest you 'Google' for suppliers.

The industry term OEM automotive fabric is "body cloth". Here is one place that has body cloth:

Something else you may want to try is looking on ebay for a set of OEM seat covers. There are several aftermarket leather shops that sell the leftover fabric covers on ebay. Many times they will have less than 100 miles on them and are in perfect condition. There should be plenty of material there to recover the headrests. I bought an extra set of upholstery to put away for later for $42 from ebay.

I did the same thing too.

Anthony, I would also suggest (1) bringing one of your OEM fabric headrests to your local fabric store and finding a fabric that's close or otherwise perfectly acceptable, or (2) bringing one of your new leather headrests to your local fabric or leather store and finding some leather that's close or otherwise perfectly acceptable and using that leather to cover your center console lid so that it brings in the leather headrests.

I suggest you go to an upholstery shop and just have your headrest color-matched to your seats instead of buying a whole set of seat covers just to match the ones on your headrest.

The whole set of seat cover usually runs about $35 though.
