Is there such a beast? Someone in their post had suggested that CalCoastal had such a device. However I contacted them and they have nothing. So I am clear, I want to use the phone when the car is in motion. This is a real problem if you are on the freeway and must make a call. Your passenger cannot make a call unless it is in the one-touch dial menu. Has anyone out there come up with a solution??

    Thanks,

    Manny

There are a number of posts on this. Just run a search for bluetooth speed defeat and you will find them. I had a local tech shop put the bluetooth defeat switch right next to the empty ligth dimmer switch to the left of the steering wheel. They charged $40 for parts and labor.

Dave, Dave, Dave...you haven't been paying attention.

Seach the posts by me, naterprius, and brosnan. There are easy do-it-yourself solutions posted, then fancier push the button on the steering wheel solutions that automatically disable the speed sensor when you hit the 'off-hook' then reenable when you hit the 'on-hook' thanks to brosnan's circuit he designed (that's what I've got on my Prius).

In the Knowledge Base article I wrote for the Nav speed sensor defeat discussions area is most of the info you'd need if you want just one place to start.
