Picture of my surround mouldings , do they look ok? It's just to protect from those who open their doors onto your car.

It seems a bit low for a door-ding guard...but it does look pretty nice.

i have a door ding.. it's right next to the handle.. you may need to move that up about a food or so. also. most doors come to a point now.. either a point like our back door.. or a curve point like the front doors. i think i was hit by an SUV. i need to fix it though.

It looks kinda like a bumpter car. can you make it bigger? hehe

It does make the car look a lot lower. all in all, i like it. wonder how it looks in person.

Hmmmm... I do not know. I kinda like it and kinda don't.

How about a close up? Say, the same angle but maybe from a foot or two away?

    How thick is it?

Call me tacky, but I want to add side chrome (just like the PT Cruiser). I would like to ad this in the hopes of deterring door dings, and second to give my Prius a sportier look. It seems a bit blank and flat-chested.

    Thanks,
    Joey

    Aussie,

That is EXACTLY what I've been looking for. Not the whole package but just enough material to run 3/4 of the way along the rear and front bumpers to protect against others who can't parallel park.

I've only found one company in the US that carries this black molding but it was really cheap looking and the glue wouldn't have held for more than 3 months....

Do you know who the manufacturer is? Or where you're installer got it?

    Cheers,
    -bob

i am a german (silver) prius 2 owner living in spain (so, please forgive me for any mistakes). i found the photo of your prius with the surround moulding through a german yahoo prius forum.
i have not found any answer from you regarding the supplier of the moulding. have you done this already and could you please repeat it for me, if possible? i do hope that in our global village it will be possible to get the same (well sticking) moulding here in spain/europe. i have not found any other prius with a similar surround moulding and would therefore appreciate your further hints on how to get the same for my prius.

    thanks in advance.
