    As Queen of Moral Indignation, I am making a ruling that a road is a place & if I ever get a "D", I'll use Daphne Road where I live.
    (I am out of "A" and "Y" names - remember I thought of using Wyoming for the latter!) - so for our next entry:

    6 Mile Road (southern Milwaukee County) - I'm ruling that "E" is up next!

    A simple suggestion: The A Clip...

    If you really, truly have run out of "A" place names, why not agree that in the
    future when a word ends with an 'a,' the response will begin with the letter
    that precedes the 'a:' Alaska : Kathlamet.

    (Love that name -- a little town in Oregon on the Columbia River -- but it didn't
    fly, and my daughter is named Elizabeth.)

    If you use this expedient you have to say so in your response:

    Alaska -- A Clip -- Kathlamet
