    My previous shamelessly self-serving thread seems to have disappeared, so I will start another, with this link to an article in Hudson Valley Magazine, featuring the Zhang Heng and its commander. There are some additional pictures here on my website from the photoshoot for that article.

    I only put them on for shows and expos. They get trashed so easily, I do not want to drive them every day. I would have put them on for this photo shoot, but I forgot.

    Yes, I was there. It was the most beautiful venue imaginable, with the hillsides of the Gunks in peak color, and a clear sunny day to boot. Didn't win nothin' , though. One interesting thing I noticed was a larger than usual number of people who walked by the car, display and all, as if it were not there. No blank stare, no mild curiosity. I think the size of the show (about 500 cars) had people saturated.

    Either that or my cloaking device is working again.

    My Christmas present for you is here.

    It is the story of the first flight of the Prius-class shuttlecraft. It features me, in my original Vulcan form, and Hobbit as a Megazoid.

    Hopefully you will have seen Star Trek movies II-IV. Not required, but you will not get many of the allusions if you haven't. Am contemplating an annotated interactive Web version for non-Trekkers.

    While I hail your individuality, I also wonder if you have taken to heart Shatner's advice to all "Trekkies" to get a life outside of Star Trek.

    I'm a trekkie fan, but I'd never do that to my beautiful Prius.

    Rather than list the accomplishments of my life, let me just say that that myth has long been dispelled. Trek fans come from all walks of life. In that context, I interpret the "Get a Life" comment as someone being jealous that they are not having as much fun as we are.
