Picked up my Driftwood Pearl Package 6 last night. Drove it around with the dealer while he showed me all the bells and whistles. Then I went to drove home I had no control of the radio volume or speakers (balance/fade, bass, etc) and it was making this really irritating clicking noise that was very periodic (about once a second). Turned around to take it back and about 5 minutes from the dealer it magically started working (no buttons were pushed). It's still working.

The only thing I can say is that the click was the same sound as turning on/off the air conditioner.

The service guy of course had no clue since it wasn't doing it when I got there.

    Any ideas?

I had identical problem when my 2004 Driftwood Pearl when it was new with about 800 miles on it. It never did return to normal so dealer ordered and installed new amplifier which solved the problem. It has been perfect ever since (now over 35,000 miles).
