Question About 15,000 Mile / 18 Month Maintenance

When I took delivery of my Prius, I used a Sharpie to mark the level on the tanks. It has gone down maybe 2mm since

 

i highly doubt they "check" the other items... just take a look around and if something is leaking, low, or disconnected, i'd be worried. Unless you are getting a 5k MIL light, i wouldn't be worried.

 

I just called my dealer, Pat Lobb Toyota, McKinney, Tx. They quoted me about $350 for the 15K service. I asked them why is was so high compared to what Toyota recommends. They stated they do more; rotate balance tires, fuel injection service, replace air filter, oil change, inspect. I told them the Toyota manual doesn't mention anything like that and I've already replaced the air filter and cabin air filter ($20 for both from eBay). I just want what Toyota recommends.

Dealers must be really hurting. I hate cars
