Dead HV battery

    I have a DEAD HV Battery in my 2001 with 130,000 miles. I don't have $3500 to have the dealer replace it. Has any shade-trees out there done this? Does anyone have a lead on where to buy a GOOD used battery?
    Any tips? Any good thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated.

    Use search mode, for repair suggestions and parts. Bentley repair manual seems to cover it well. There is a wealth of info in search mode.

    Salvage battery replacement is doable by someone with some experience. As suggested a search may help you find information. autobeyours.com is a good place to start.
