Theft deterrent system light: always on when ignition is off

In the UK Prius, the slow blinky immobiliser light also doubles as an indicator for the vehicle intrusion sensor - it comes on continuously for a while after it's activated.

 

That may be the case here too. I can't say that I've noticed one way or the other.

The theft deterrent light is perfectly normal. I have an '07 Prius Package 6 and an '08 Hybrid Camry. Both cars do the same thing, and have since brand new so I never questioned it

Are you a member of the National Dyslexic Theater? I remember back when they were doing Annie Get Your Nug. They had to cut short the production after the lead actress threw herself behind a bus.
