Since you haven't tested every phone Samsung makes that's a pretty bold statement to make.

I have a Samsung a900m on the Sprint network, and I use it with the Prius bluetooth all the time. It paired very easily. My only complaint is that I couldn't bulk upload all my contacts, it would only upload them one at a time.

except for the battery level and signal strength on mfd, i got my samsung sync to work with my car just fine. the thing i hate about at&t/cingular is that unless you have an iphone or a PDAor a pc card, you won't get any software updates. in the last 9 years or so i have been with cingular i have never gotten any firmware from them. i have had a couple cheesy nokias. one of my nokias would lock up at 12:01am on the dot, if you had any unread text messages in your inbox. i tried calling cingular and nokia about it but i eventually got sick and end up recycling the phones.

i currently use a lg vu c920. u can get them on amazon for 1 cent on a at&t contract renewal
still no battery meter or signal strength on mfd

My Samsung Upstage from Sprint worked great with my 2008 Camry. Granted, not the Prius, but they use the same radio suppliers.

Just not sure the "Doesn't work with Samsung" statement is totally factual.

No problems with my Verizon Samsung Sway (U650). Previously had a 1st Generation Motorola Razr with Verizon.

Same here my SCH-i760 connects blue tooth for both phone and MP3. It transferred all my contacts it seconds and I have over 6oo numbers in my phone/PDA. I can voice dial any of the numbers in the car without any problems my car is a 2010 Prius.. Last 3 phones/pda I have had have been Samsung, noe a problem I kept my older on I730 for 4 years.

Ok, for all you you with a Samsung phone and trying to pair with the Prius.
I have a new Samsung Sunburst and it wouldn't pair. I tried over and over.
Then finally got it to work (at least to pair and make a call, I haven't tried transferring phone book entries yet.

The Geniuses at Toyota left out an instruction. The Field "name" has to have an entry on the car's pairing screen. Once it has an entry, the Sunburst immediately paired.

    Time for a drink!

My Samsung SPH-M520 (from Sprint) worked fine w/my Prius until the phone was stolen.
