They have these small adapters that you can plug into a non-bluetooth capable phone and it then has blue...

has anyone tried using these adapters with Walkies, HAM radio's and setup as a second BlueTooth device. As my 09 seems to indicate you can have more then one Phone setup at the same time.

The Prius will work with bluetooth phones, but from what I've read, it won't work with other bluetooth devices.

    It's worse than that

It's actually worse than that. Some phones do more with bluetooth than the Prius expects. My Nokia N95, for example, seees my 2008 Prius as a Bluetooth audio device as well as a car kit. That means that when my phone is connected to the Prius, all sound goes into the bluetooth connection. But unless the Prius is in call mode, that sound doesn't go anywhere. As a result, I can't hear anything from my phone -- text message notifications, music, and so on -- when it's connected. I'd love to be able to play music over the Bluetooth connection, but instead, I have to use the aux jack. It feels like a nasty hack.
