I have a 2006 Prius with nav and I have connected several bluetooth devices in the past with no problems. I purchased a Blackberry Storm (Verizon) and although I can link up the bluetooth connection, as soon as I turn off or the car or the phone, I loose the bluetooth connection. When I check on the dash of the Prius, there is no indication that the Storm has been registered by the Prius. What am I doing wrong? Please help!! Thank you.

You should go to the Verizon dealer where you bought it from.
There may be a firmware update for you. This sounds like a software/firmware issue to me (i.e. how the BT profiles wre implemented). Good luck.
Maybe some Storm owners can shed some light on this.

If I delete this phone than rergister it it works just fine unto I shut off the Prius . Then it reads connection failure. This such a Pain!.

Update. Thanks for the feedback. After countless hours on the phone and in person with Verizon, it was decided (only after trying another Storm), that it was indeed a BAD Storm and it was replaced. So, hang in there and don't give up when the Verizon folks tell you it is a problem with your car! Good luck.

On your phone under tools there is a bluetooth section. There are several options such as connect automatically or prompt etc.. I chose to connect automatically. Now whenever I get in my car and start it.... "BlueTooth". Btw I have a Blackberry Curve. I was having similar issues until I picked automatic connection.

    Best of Luck!
