NO WAY, that was "Buckaroo Banzi and the Hong Kong Cavaliers" and their pals, a band of inter-dimensional aliens called Red Lectroids from Planet 10

Actually, I thought it came from Douglas Adams only to discover the Internets (which never are wrong and are always full of truthiness) attributed it to Confucius. Personally, I never met either man but it sounds like something they would say.

I said the future. Either we will install the needed infrastructure, or our transportation economy will collapse and you won't be able to get anywhere except on foot or bicycle.

Here's the problem: We seem to be determined to burn every last drop of oil, and justify it because "not everyone has a garage."

You cannot buy an EV today because you don't have the infrastructure. But you can demand that your government start requiring that every city block where driveways and garages do not exist have a parking lot with charging plugs. You can demand research and governmental investment into electric infrastructure. And most importantly, you can demand an end to the subsidies which keep stinkers artificially cheap to operate.

Probably not more than 75% of multi-car households in the U.S., and maybe only 50% in the U.K., could realistically trade in one of their stinkers for an EV today. But unless we start moving in this direction, your kids are royally screwed.

Wow, I went to enter a couple tanks worth of info into the new Green Hybrid and it royally sucked. I won't be using it anymore.

Fibb, that seems to be the new consensus. If you have any issues with our database at myHybridCar.com, please let me know and I'll do my best to address them.
