Don't mind at all. I was debating between a brand new 08 that they had and a used 06 with 30,000 miles. the 08 is FWD and the 06 is AWD. I did some thinking, talked it over with some people and decided to go for the 06. The brand new 08 was MSRP $49000, and I couldve gotten it for 36-38k but the one i decided to take(06) I got for approx $28k. KBB values it at $36k suggested retail value and $33k private party value. Its got 30k miles on it and is lexus certified so I have a 3yr 100k mile warranty on it all for the beautiful price of approx $28k.

Congrats! You'll be very happy with it, the RX400h is a really nice vehicle. You should join over at www.lexusownersclub.com, lots of RX400h owners.

Me? I would trade the Prius in for an RX but not the ES. I'm not sure what I'll replace the ES with when the time comes...

Dandy. They can't even make the higher MPG, more expensive cars in this country? What are we REALLY saving by saving the Detroit 3 (yes, I know, Ford hasn't yet asked for cash).
May not be as hard as you think :) With thoughtful packing, you can get a LOT in a Prius, probably as much as you routinely carry with "toss it in" packing in the minivan. Two small soft bags instead of one large hard one for example.
