Now that we have prices, any idea when Toyota's Prius website will be updated w/ a configuration tool for the 2010, online brochure, etc.?

Good call, dude! I check the Toyota website every couple days or so, and lately, it's been the new Camry and the new Venza. (the new Venza looks kinda cool, actually.)

As soon as the online config tool is up there, I'm gonna be configuring like a mad-man! :D It'll be much easier to hand over a printed summary to the dealership.

The 'Build/Price Your Own' function is NOT done by TMS. This is done on a regional level. That's why you must enter a ZIP code into the system first. The software is designed and controlled by each region which fits with Toyota's decision to decentralize the retail sales. One region may be operational on May 1st. Another may only go online on June 1st. It just depends.

There is no reason to expect each region to have the same pricing formula, the same options packages or the same accessories list. Even adjacent regions may have entirely different prices and options. I for example live in SET ( NC ) but work in CAT ( VA ). The pricing on all models is entirely different between the two regions. It gives me more options....

Your Local Prices May Vary ( YLPMV )...:D

Sadly, the spreadsheet is inaccurate. The options are exclusive of each other, not additive.

Here is a very basic spreadsheet I put together to do some quick math on various package costs. I had a little trouble getting the formatting correct if it was all in 1 row or 1 column but didn't want to spend too much time on it.

Hope it helps someone else out!

They haven't even upgraded for 2010 Camry, which they've been selling for a month. Not holding my breath...

The configurator tool probably won't be up until mid-May. It runs off of inventory (or projected inventory), so once we have enough in the incoming pipeline, we can turn it on.

    Attention: Doug Coleman
Is a vehicle intrusion system included in the 2010 with or without a glass breakage sensor??

The VIP Security System is offered as an accessory (not part of any Prius package). It WILL include the Glass Breakage Sensor.

It would be great if Toyota were to at least put the 2010 Prius eBrochure on now, as the print brochure has been available for a week.

Back to the original question, I'm going to say tomorrow as the current national incentives expire tonight. Just a guess.
