Same thing, V w/ nav included, is popping up in the Pacific Northwest. Just put in a San Diego Zip and came up V w/ Adv. Tec package! All showing 1.5 engine.

I tried to build a 2010 and when I put in my zip code (which is in NC) only the 2009s came up. <harrrumph!>

Very true, the only thing is we can't get the dealers to even deal with us and we are looking to put down a deposit and we need a car soon. I was going to look at the Jetta TDI but when the sales guy told me it needed a timing belt at only 60,000 miles that put me off right here.
Very few cars and lots of orders but 2-3 months minimum is what we are being told and often the dealers don't bother to call us back.

Thanks, Just checked it. I'm surprised that I don't have a popup that I have a new PM. I set it so they would show.

    Good experience

Just want to thank you all for the great info on this forum. I tried out the tool referenced in the OP, configured my Package II 2010 Prius, and used it to contact three dealers near my home. That turned out to be a really good idea.

All three dealers called me within hours. Two of them, Stevinson and Go, were confused (to put it kindly) about the features of the car and the list prices. The guy from Go went so far as to offer an elaborate explanation as to why the Toyota web site gave the incorrect MSRP and that the real MSRP was actually over $27,000. FAIL.

I ended up talking with Liberty Toyota in Colorado Springs. The salesperson there, Jen, had correct answers to all my questions. We went there this morning and put down our deposit. The people were very nice, got us through the paperwork in and out quickly, for a little under the actual MSRP. I'm hoping to see my new car in late June or early July.

So thank you again for the great information here, and I hope this post will be helpful to folks in the Denver area who might not be happy with their dealer experiences. You might find the longer drive to Springs to be worth your while.

    Re: Good experience

Thanks for the good info. Please post your out-the-door price and packages/options etc so that we can get some reference on the pricing and competition out there.

It looks like u must have added some options since $27K sounds a bit high for a Prius II.

    Re: Good experience

I must have worded my comments too obscurely. My point was that I didn't ask for any options but the guy was lying to me about the MSRP. The correct price was $22k according to the Toyota site, but he was telling me the site was wrong in an effort to convince me to agree to an inflated price. So once it was clear to me that he was lying intentionally and not just misunderstood, I ended the conversation and went elsewhere.

It's nice to see the 2009 off the Toyota site and the 2010 on!

Bring on the new, improved seats, chassis, looks, etc...

I think the 2010 will make the 'Prius' far less the butt of jokes as it currently is for a few individuals.

And I like what Edmunds.com had to say - '... the 2010 is now the total package we always knew the Prius could be'

    :)

The Compare function on toyota.com is still not updated with the 2010 Prius although the 2010 Insight is availiable as a choice.

Hopefully Team Toyota/Prius will update it soon.
