Three new owners (As of Monday 1:15 PM) of the new 2010 Prius and not one of them mentioned how much they paid out the door for the car. Why ?

Please post the OTD. Thank you and congratulations on the new toy

Why should they have to post their price? It's none of our business.

That said, it sounds like most people are paying MSRP.

After calling and e-mailing 30-dealers in 5-states I finally found one :rockon::cheer2:in So Cal willing to honor the Costco discount at $500 under MSRP and $75 DOC + $75 drive out of state fee. Most are sticking on the $200 floor mat at port & rear bumper plaque and (bluetooth *it was factory installed) crud and the alarm system.

I purchased the 2010 Prius III with Navigation, MSRP with shipping and floor mats etc., was 25, 750.00 on the window label. I believe license and title for Oregon for 4 years is another 200.00.

The dealer gave us a generous trade in on the 2000 Chevy and another 100.00 bird dog to my finace'. Also Oregon has a $1,500.00 total tax credit for new purchase on hybrids.

So out the door would be MSRP of $25,950.00, less the above, No sales tax in Oregon.

Also Toyota financing was only 4.99% for 72 months.

Just a note - Prius II doesn't have Bluetooth, and thus there's a port/dealer option to add it via an external "Toyota-ish" system.

    this is my first post!

i have a pre-order at koons of tysons corner (here in No Va) for $500 below MSRP. I put a refundable $1000 down on my amex.

I am 21st or 22nd in line, and am being told late June, with the caveat that that could change depending on how the cars come in.

I ordered a IV with Solar Nav in red/black/ or blue

I have an 02 with 140K miles that I bought in 05 when it had 65K miles. I have had zero unusual issues. My current tires are michelin harmonies that i run at 41 psi - they have 40K miles on them and the tread looks near new.

i get 50 mpgs in the summer and 46 in the winter. 80% hiway. my best mpgs is on the hiway - much better than what i get on the wkd shuttling my kids around afflurbia.

    Revenge of the Pacific Northwest.
After enduring being called the Pacific North Wet and being told Washington's state flower is 'Mildew', PNW Prius owners get the lion's share of the Solar package Prius IIIs.

We applied for a loan online and was approved in about a minute. One week later, I receive a blank check with the max amount set to the approved requested loan amount. I simply need to complete the details and hand the check over to the dealership. It couldn't be simpler. To get the 3.99% rate, you must complete the app online.

Got 3.49% Financing for my 2010 Prius

Just got financing through First Tech Credit Union for my 2010 Prius (expect the car tomorrow or the next day at the dealers). 3.99% - .25% corp discount then -.25% EPA/Green special discount for a total interest rate of 3.49%.

I worked with a woman named Amy B. in the Tanasbourne, OR office.

    Can't wait to get my 2010!!! :)

And the car dealers love to deal with them because the blank check is like handing them cash so you can get the best price possible for your car purchase. Penfed's payment saver auto loan is also a good deal to get super low car payments and then you pay off remaining balance and the end of term. Kind of like a lease but you own the car. :)
