This not related to the prius but I really have to show cause I found it interesting.... an "old school" navigation from Honda.

Overall these magazine/book are very informative. Too bad I didn't know how to read Japanese.

    Would love a Prius wagon.

I'd also love the Prius in that periwinkle/light purplish blue color shown in the magazine.

I had also seen photos of it from a Japanese car show.

Wonder if it was a color only available in Japan.

That would be Iceberg Silver Mica Metallic. I had a lot of trouble translating that so you can thank Ken for the translation.

So far, it seems like a Japan-only colour. Keep in mind that we might be the only place getting Sandy Beach Metallic. It certainly isn't available in Japan, neither is Winter Grey (but I believe that is available elsewhere in Europe and Australia)

In Australia, we get the normal White (as well as the White Pearl), but do not get your Sandy Beach Metallic. Our dark Gray is called Stealth. All other colours here are the same as the US range.

Seems like they're keeping the colours for local consumption.

It's not unusual for an automaker to use its various design studios and basically pit them against each other to come up with the best design.

Toyota has a design studio in Newport Beach, which has influenced many designs and has led some, too.
