I just got a 2005 package 5 w/ jbl 9 speaker and the bluetooth speaker is not working. I can pair my phone up to the car no problem, but when I get a call there is no voice or sound coming from the drivers side kick panel speaker. I took apart the drivers side interior door panel to see if anything was frayed or disconnected, but everything was there like normal.

One thing I did notice is if I transfer all the sound to the front left (drivers side speaker) there is no bass, just highs as if the sound were just comming from the tweeters. If I transfer it to any other corner, there is bass.

What do you think could be my problem? Should I check the amp under the passenger seat? Or is it something to do with my blackberry?

    TIA

If you play the radio or CD (not the phone) and the above happens, then the problem has nothing to do with your phone.

I would check the front left woofer to make sure it's still working. (swap it with the front right woofer, for instance). If the speaker is good, then I would check the connection going to it from the amp.

There's a wiring diagram somewhere on this forum (can't remember where).

Yeah thats what I figured. the only problem with swapping speakers is that they are riveted into the door. I'd have to do more work than expected. I wonder if its just easier to swap the connectors on the amp.

If you have a spare speaker lying around, another troubleshooting option is to tap the wires going to the right front woofer and run them to your spare.

One forum member did route Bluetooth output to the center speaker and ran only the rear output to both front and rear speakers (thus losing the fade function).

You could try something like that...

One thing u could do is check the the driver version of the phone and the speakers and see whether they are compatible. If either of them are found missing drivers then just go on to the site of the product and download them.

May this could be one of the problem.

Other wise just check out the wire connections of all the 4 corners of the car and reinstall them.

This is what i think of may be could help u out.
