prius owners in des moines area

    got my 2002 prius about 3-4 months ago, have seen maybe 2 or 3 classic prii in the area and maybe half dozen of the next gen prii. just wondering how many of you prius owners in the des moines area are out here. :D

    i know this thread is a bit old, but with all the prii i am seeing on the road lately, just thought i'd give another shout out and see if there was any other members out there in the des moines area or any prius or hybrid related events going in des moines, iowa or the midwest

    Is Ames considered the DSM area? There are a lot of Prius around here including numerous Gen I.

    If I can make the chicagoland meetup I will. With my work schedule I am working most Sundays. And yes bbdave I consider Ames close enough to the dsm area.

    And of course all Iowans are welcome to come to the weekend-long Hybridfest Green Drive Expo in July. It's a great way to hang out with other owners from all over the country.

    One of our planning team members hails from Iowa originally and heads back that way nearly once a month.
