;) Finally got the motivation to post after reading here number of times, you all are great and informative.

Got my 2009 pkg 2 a weekish ago 24.8k otd with the 0% apr deal . Delt some with them and got them down to invoice and thought it was good enough. Know some of you seem to find better deals.

Hearing about the 2010 and stuff hesitated about waiting lists and if there was going to be good deals on the 2010s or not. But loving the 2009.

Havent had a brand new car for years and always were small ones like Aspire cavalier and Geos,so this one seems much bigger. Car handles great and is smooth ride and comfy for me and tons of room for shopping in trunk.

Not sure mpg range is average and know some of you get crazy mpgs, some hilly spots here and stop and go and country areas a nice mix.Got the tires at 42/40 like you guys suggest. Getting anywhere from 45mpg first few days to 47 to 52 now driving in ways to make people in big suvs and pick ups want to run me off road. Is there something about when following a prius even if doing over speed limit makes others get road rage at you?

Car running with ICE off its so quiet and neighborhood kids almost bit my hood running out into street without looking to see if cars were coming as well as a Deer in the road , so glad didnt hit that deer My new car  . Had to slam on brakes for the deer hope it doesnt hurt the car while still being broke in.

Well thats a quick helloz from Ohioz, Just hope the car does well in Lake Effect Snow storms when winter time comez.

Welcome Celtic!!! This is a great website full of lots of good information; come back often. Congratulations on the purchase of the most techno-marvelous car you will ever have......and on top of that.....it's a hybrid!! My daughter lives in Concord Township outside of Cleveland, so I am very familiar with the hilly situation you are describing.

I think the anger of other drivers is just jealousy!! Just smile, say hi and let them you know you will catch them at the next stoplight. Life is much more than just road rage....'ya know??

Have fun finding all the neat storage places in your car, experience the quiet ride in "stealth mode" and find out how much fun driving can really be.

For me, it just gets better and better.....did you name your car?? It seems to be a popular thing here.....mine is "Eleanor" from the Mustang GT 500 that Nicholas Cage boosted in "Gone in 60 Seconds."

    Again, enjoy...........

Like you, this is my first post on the forum and we also just bought a 2009 Prius IV. Traded in a 1985 Toyota Van - yes 1985! It was still running great but leaking oil and antifreeze, so it was time to go. We took the 0% financing too.

Got about 46 on the first half tank of gas. My wife's been driving it this week while I've been away on business, so we'll see what we get on the second tank. After reading the forum here, I see I better check my tire pressure when I get home.

So far, we love the car, but I will be on the lookout for any problems with the bladder fuel tank. The dealer didn't mention anything about not topping off the tank, so I'm glad I've been reading the info here.
