Hello, Im new here. I currently have a 2006 E55 AMG. My lease is up in November, and Im pretty sold on getting a new Prius. Im planning on getting the V with the ATP. There are so many cool features on the car, I cant wait until then. This forum is great and has tons of info. I work from home, and most of my driving is city driving shuttling kids and running errands. So it seems like a hybrid would be the way to go.

Im gathering as much info as I can about availability and pricing. Seems like MSRP is the norm.

Anyway, thought Id post up as I've been lurking and finally registered. Im going to miss my 550 HP car, but not the payments!!!!! I figure the prius will balance out my carbon footprint that I've left with the AMG.

For others who have no idea, a 2006 E55 AMG is a Mercedez-Benz Luxury Sedan.

I just sold my Audi A4 and got a 2009 Prius Pkg 5. I'm already loving the 48+ MPG on regular octane fuel!

As for 2010 pricing, there's a lot of info on these forums. Seems that MSRP is the norm, but depending on where you live, dealers may already have some extra stock on hand. I'd say paying MSRP is ok, but try not to pay any "dealer" or "market adjustment" fees.

    Good luck!

wow, talk about a difference lol.

Yeah the Prius V ATP seems to be right up your alley. It'll have the luxury and technology that you expect in an MB.. well ok not all the luxury.. it won't have power front seats with memory for example but it'll make up for it with technology.

Hope to see you around more often. You can read up on the Knowledge Base for some tips and tricks. As well, you may browse the 2010 forum for pics and other stuff that the new owners share with us.
