Does anyone know of a dealer in the Seattle area that has IIIs or IVs with the sunroof option? I have $500 down with Toyota of Bellevue, but they have yet to get one in. If there is a dealer out there that can get me one without putting another $500 down please let me know. Thanks.

I was told by our regional manager that there is a part shortage limiting the number of sunroof options. Only 10% are being made with sunroof.

Its a regional situation... I would think in good ol WA you wont see as many going up there as you will down here in AZ.... Solar package is more beneficial and easier sell in PHX... I know our region is having 95 built this month in III....

Ask your dealer to look at the TVO Summary to see what is being built.. I would help, but WA is not in our region sorry. Seems to be a big question right now for the NW...Lived 28 years myself.

You might have to come over to the east side. I had Spokane and Yakima both tell me they could get sunroof in within 3 weeks on package #4 and a bit later on package #3. I have deposit down with Kennewick (Tri-Cities) and should be getting my blue #3 with solar next weekend!! But he really had to push to get that ONE, since it is really rare (I was told out of 500 cars to our region only 15 had solar package #3).

Thanks. I may have to look into eastern Washington dealers.

I think this is pretty much the reason. The sunroof "package" comes with the solar vent thing and the remote AC button. It was meant for those who live in sweltering heat, not those who enjoy the added light and luxury of having a sunroof.

Maybe on the 2011 or 2012 they will get it right and have a hot weather package for hot weather people, and not force it on the rest of the country.
