since it is part of the price, the answer is most likely yes. but im sure state laws vary

Hybrids should be 100% tax exempt! but I guess that would be up to the state. and in Texas, that'll never happen.

I posted this in my introduction post in the newbie section, but here it is again.

2010 Prius III in Blizzard Pearl

Out the door price excluding Tax, Title, and License came out to $24,504. The breakdown:

    $23,000 - MSRP
$220 - Blizzard Pearl Paint Charge
$200 - Carpeted Floor Mats (For Summer)
$0 - All Weather Floor Mats (For Winter, I got them to throw this on for no additional cost)
    $750 - Destination
$149 - Document and Administration Fee
$185 - 5-year key replacement, lockout protection, and roadside assistance

North Dakota Car taxes are 5% which I will have to pay when I register the vehicle.

EDIT: This is no longer current, see post #38 of this thread for my purchase. The dealer that my dealer was trying to trade with decided not to go through with the dealer-trade.

I paid $22420 + doc fees for my blue 2010 prius II....I went and got a quote from the dealer in person $22900 while waiting for their internet manager to reply...the internet price was $21888 + doc fees no tax in WA..but then later they said they would not honor the price given online due to me already talking to a salesman getting my name eariler so i acted like i was going to go elsewhere and I told them i wanted it for $22420 + free floor mats and i got it....the price i got was also my green political statement of my younger years

Last Friday, I ordered a winter grey Prius III!

    23,000 + 750 destination + 200 mats - 1000 discount = $22,950 + plus taxes/fees

Wow, everyone getting below MSRP and the dealers around me are only offering MSRP. I guess its all academic since I'm still waiting and this week's allocation came out and my dealer didn't call and I'm getting depressed, sort of.

Its all about location. I ordered mine (Prius V with ATP) for MSRP + $250 ("dealer fee") + delivery etc. Every other dealer I've spoke to in CT wont match it and are charging in excess of $1000 "dealer fee".

I am trying to purchase the 2010 prius with package IV with Navigation and Satellite Radio. The price seems to be somewhere around 28,350. I am looking for 36 month lease with 15,000 miles and 2000/down.

Has anyone leased a 2010 with these specs? If so what is your monthly? I have been told by North Hollywood Toyota that they are selling their Prius' for 7,500 over invoice? Does anyone have any numbers they can share?

call dianne whitmire at manhattan beach toyota for an msrp deal - in fact if you search prius chat for "whitmire" you will find a thread recently where she listed her incoming allotment - as i recall there are IVs/nav unspoken for.

there are also threads here with lease details

I'm in the NYC area too. Do you mind to share which dealership you bought the new Prius?

I'm still waiting my order, and the dealer did not give any discount.

    Prius II Silver $22000 + delivery $750 + carpet $200 + wheel lock $67 = $23017 + tax + reg.
