I have a 2008 Prius without the DVD navigation, ie. CD changer and JBL speakers, etc. I currently use my classic iPod via the AUX plug.

My cheapo phone is seen by the Prius bluetooth. So that bluetooth connectivity works fine.

Having just purchased an iPod touch and got the software upgrade, the Touch now has bluetooth capability.

So, can I (and how) do I get it to stream music via bluetooth?

    Thanks,
    Charlie

I just saw the info about the ipod touch upgrade and I too want to know if I will be able to get it to sync with my 2008 Prius. I don't want to spend the $9.95 to upgrade if it isn't compatible.

No I dont believe the gen II prius supports A2DP bluetooth profiles.

Only Gen III can do this. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd love to be mistaken.
