+2 on the steering wheel. That's my biggest gripe as I come from 3 spokes. The brakes and the throttle I can deal with because I know I'm driving a car with 130hp not 240hp like my FJ. I also can't wait for some sort of suspension mod's to come out for the new GenIII. I really liked the GenII's touring suspension and hadn't heard of the BT plate and strut tower brace for the Prius until recently discovering PC.
Hi apriori, Gen II. I should have clarified. I was driving the Saturn SL2, which had truely scarry brake pedal pushing requirements with the Firesstone OEM tires, and only acceptable with the Hydroedges. So, out of the Saturn SL2 with HE's, I was plunked down into the Prius for the test drive. The salesman was smiling on the way back toward the dealarship though. I feathered into a left turn arrow and timed it just right...
In general I just get used to stuff, except MS Windows which I hate, hate, hate OP does raise an interesting marketing point though. I wonder if the software by-line systems can be set up to accommodate people who really want to tweak the driving experience. Might be a way for dealers to make some money.
Might also be a great way to open up the liability floodgates. I imagine Toyota will keep a tight lock-down on software access!
The brakes on my 2005 Prius are one of my favorite things about the car. I love feeling braking when you barely touch them. They are much better than my Camry's brakes. So is the steering. In fact, I don't like driving the Camry much after the Prius. However, the Camry has softer seats and a power adjust seat, which the new Prius should have.
