You better not. If Limbaugh was never convicted we can't besmirch MJ.

    Same-same.

well Farrah lived much longer than expected, but Ed MacMahon was a complete surprise. i had no idea he was THAT sick.

as far as Jackson goes, i am not really surprised. his show coming up, an enormous reputation and impossible expectations... he stressed himself to death. plus, lets face it, with all his surgeries and other stresses, im surprised he didnt keel over sooner.

Michael Jackson was a freak, but he did have talent. I enjoyed a lot of his music. 50 is far too young to die. :rip:

Sad for both of them, but what about poor Farrah? Of all the days that she could have died, it would have to be the same day as MJ.

Now for the next week the news will be flooded with everything about Michael. So no one will even talk about or remember Farrah and her struggle.

I didn't mention Farrah, though I am sorry for her death, she was a very brave woman. No one will bag Farrah, and so they shouldn't.

    I'll mourn for them both.

But Michael's death was a real shock, and I feel a greater sense of loss.

I think that a lot of people have a special regard for artists who, at their best, were as good as it gets. And Michael was certainly one of those artists.

I still remember his performance of Billie Jean on the Motown TV special. Martin Scorsese described it best a few nights later, when he said that it sent chills down his spine.

FF is quite sad indeed and MJ well what story! I thought when they brought MJ's body out on the stretcher to the helicopter the stretcher carries should have been "Moon Walking" certainly the casket carriers should do so.

Of course I would hear about the news and have a 48y/o female with the same exact situation. We started CPR upon arriving at scene, she was in cardiac arrest and that was that. Kinda eerie that we'd get a similar call moments after hearing about MJ.

It was a very surreal day for this Gen-Xer. How many of us had Farrah posters in our bedrooms, even if we were a little too young to understand what "sexy" was? And she re-invented herself as a serious actor after Charlie's Angels. If you've never seen it, see if you can find The Burning Bed. Her performace was superb. It's very sad that she's gone.

And Michael Jackson the same day? Say what you will about his last 20 years (and that's all anyone seems to be talking about), the man was a galactic talent. Along with being a supreme singer & dancer, he was a visionary when it came to music videos. His videos were always must sees ... no one did it like him. And who among us Gen-Xers didn't immediately try to learn to moonwalk after watching him? Sad sad sad.

Prius voice control is amazing. Say "CD" and it starts playing the CD. Say "next track" and it goes to the next track. Only problem is, some kids ran out into the street. I muttered "f***ing kids" and the Prius started playing Michael Jackson.

I spent 4 long months in Santa Maria covering the Jackson Molestation Trial for a major Network News outlet. I saw MJ every day he showed up for trial. He had the MOST unhealthy palor of ANY human I have ever seen. I often wondered what was keeping him alive.....

and to die +$400 MILLION in debt and NO WILL, at least none has been mentioned as of the time of this posting, is amazing.

It's going to be a shark feeding fenzy!!!

Too bad MJ, RIP at last!

Strangely enough, last Thursday I worked for the same News Outlet doing interviews with Ryan O'Neil and others speaking about the Farrah Faucett situation. At the end of the shoot, I just knew there was not much time left for her. I just did not realize, we were talking days.!!

I am seeing way too many names I grew up with going away.

    Getting old sucks!

jokes are already rolling in... did you hear the coroner's report; Michael Jackson died of food poisoning... he apparently ate some 10 year old meat
