    Check, check, post check.

    Hey I got in!
I'm a newb with lots of Prius info (not really but I do drive about 60K miles a year).

Almost 70 MPG since May 1st and still learning.
I'm really not a hyper-M kind of person, but since I got my '08 I have learned A LOT! :thumb:

Wow ! That MPG is great. You must be a "natural" with near ideal conditions. I get my best MPG in the 40-50 MPH range with limited traffic and a warm day. Hills, lights, cold temps, short trips, and traffic are downers.
PC is a wonderful place to learn and support owners of the best car around. Prepare to spend some quality time at the screen.

49.2558 MPG on my first tank.

Need 3 more posts until I can post a photo, apparently.......

All of those MPG's are great if you look at what others who don't drive hybrids get! But I usually get 46 - 48 on my 2008 Pri so sounds like you are doing great. I get VERY excited when the tank gets more than 50 mpg. My lifetime overall is 46 point something. I just drive - keep up with rush hour traffic, etc. But as to needing 3 posts for a pic, I don't remember that.

Hello, this is the only thread I could find for just a greeting...

Last year I talked my parents into buying a 2008 Silver Prius with Leather and Nav. They are currently getting around 45 mpg, depending on who is driving.

On Saturday, we ordered our IV-SR in either Winter Gray or Black. I'm not sure what the average wait is, but I am not very good at being patient. :)

    Anyway, hello.

Hello all! Noob here, I just bought a 2004 Prius a month ago from a little old lady in Boulder. It had 15,000 miles and still smelled new. I got a great deal and am totally excited about the 46 and 47 mpg's I've gotten on the first 2 tanks of gas (and many more happy miles to go).

I did some work to it after I got it... pic attached. I've since installed door moldings and mud flaps (bought here).

How do I insert a thumbnail preview that can be enlarged? (nevermind it thumbnailed it for me) lol

Thanks! They're both easy to install, just be patient with the molding. I made the mistake of using too much of that paint prep and it dripped down and prepped the paint where I didn't need it.
I thought it was an alcohol mix, so I wasn't in a hurry to wipe the excess. It wasn't a lot, but it ruined the paint with a drippy effect. Luckily you can't see it unless you're right up on it.

Now, I just need to get a better stereo. I can't hear it over the road noise.
