Lancia Thesis. Holy crap it looked like the designer was blind and was trying to mimic some tropical fish. I'll see if I can find a pic

That Lancia picture is scary! I had always thought Italians understood Design?

Hey, my last car was a Matrix. It is not ugly! My vote has to be the Scion. The darn thing looks like a Hearse! The Astec and the Element run a close second. The Hummer? Well, those things should never have been sold to the general public.

Hot damn... they still make the asstech (sorry folks.... )

I thought those were discontinued due to lack of demand. I have seen one and only one here.

I know the owner of it, I worked for her husband. Nice people, crappy car. They have had a ton of trouble with it too, always in the shop. Soon as the warranty expired it went to hell the way it sounds.

Is it just me or is the name Hummer obscene?

And anything that's completely flat in front (ahem, Chrysler) looks like someone ran it into a building. Not the impression I want to make...

Yep, leave it up to GM to name one truck after a sexual act (Hummer) and another after a natural disaster (Avalanche).

Guys who drive a Hummer do so probably since they can't get a real one, if ya know what I mean...

For cars with frightening names, leave it to the French, inventors of the Guillotine, for example to call the convertible version of the Citroen DS the Citroen DS Decapotable. Instead of saying "Shall we put the top down" should we say "Let's decapotate the car?"

    Still Pontiac Aztec.

If you put a Honda Element or Scion xB into a car crusher, it comes out looking like an Aztec.

    :p

I'm surprised nobody has named/mentioned yet:

Toyota Echo: does an ugly car create sonic-echos?
Prius 2G [aka Classic]: echo of the Echo

I like the 3G Prius for its CRX-like nice person. The tC is really nice too.

And, I'm with the previous on the Aztek, fake-Hummers (aka H2), xB, Magnum, etc. How about some mini-vans?

I'll throw out a minivan nomination - how about the most recent incarnation of the Nissan Quest - I really liked the simple lines of the previous version but I don't like the current one at all.

What is this "mobile shoe box" trend in care design, anyway?????

No aerodynamics. And, the things always look like they've been punched in the face. Or, lost a fight with an 18-wheeler. :pukeleft:
