Updating 2006 Prius Nav DVD

    My 2006 Prius navigation uses the disc:
    86271-47040 464210-0701 U40 v 5.1 .

    Not being inclined to be gouged by the dealer ($300 !?) I have searched for an applicable dvd disc to update with.

    I found a disc: 86271-53022 464210-0971 U32 ver 7.1

    Anyone know if this is compatible w/my 2006 ?

    Version 7 is compatible with your 06. That is what my brother-in-law has in his 06.

    Yup, found a TOYOTA LEXUS NAVIGATION DISC U32 D VER 7.1 on eBay and got it cheap. Works gret and no more silly "Agree" button to click before you use nav screen. Ty for the version confirmation.
