I assume others have noticed this as well? It's much quieter than that of any other car I've driven, and when the stereo is on and there's any road noise at all, it's really not audible. Is this normal?

I am not sure if the 2010 sounds different from the '04. I think the sound is just fine. Not to be rude or anything but have you had your hearing checked??

I concur. If I'm driving with the stereo on, I can't hear it at all. It's far quieter than my Honda Civic. And I'm one of those rare 26 year olds that doesn't like to blast the radio.

I thought it was just my imagination. I noticed that also - I don't hear the turn signal clicker at all.

My previous car was a 2004 Prius, and I heard the clicker just fine. They must have made this one a lot quieter.

Second the motion. We've had both an '03 and an '06, and in neither was the turn signal clicker very audible. they need to improve this.

Back in the doo wop years when I used to go to work in a corduroy suit, turn signal clickers were A LOT louder than they are in today's cars.

Not your hearing. And I agree "newer" cars seem to have a much quieter turn signal click than in the past. For me, simply normal audio level overpowers the click. Good the blinking arrows are quite obvious. I've caught mine on after making sweeping turns.

I noticed this during a test drive of the 2010. I wish it were louder too.

We love it. Switched from a Lexus RX300 to a 06 and found it too loud. The clicker on the 2010 is just nice.

I myself like it, Sitting at a light trying to make a left with the blinker on always drove me nuts, now it' so quiet I hardly even notice, and when i do it's not a bother and tolerable.

At about 9 years of age my Saab just went silent on me. Many passengers ask how I had turned off the signal click so they could do it too. I wouldn't want the Prius any louder than it is!

I think it's just right. Hate loud ones, sound cheap.

    I think it's perfect!

I've had ones that were loud and drove me nuts. You didn't want to turn on the blinker because all you could hear was click click, click click, click click!!!

Turn signals have always been too noisy for me in the past. These are just perfect!

I don't want it annoyingly loud, but I would like to be able to hear it slightly when the radio is on.

Perhaps I can help finance my Prius debt by renting out my wife; she is really good at anouncing "CLICKER"!
