I am so glad I don't live in a SET region so I will never need to deal with all their extra fees if I ever decide to buy a Toyota.
The extra cost for all the regional fees and mandatory dealer packs must make the cars less competive against every non-Toyota car.

FYI, some cars in SET come with the Toyoguard protection package, some with nothing. If you want a car without any other accessories like bumper protectors from SET, they are also available. I've seen lots with, many without, at our dealer; I'm not sure whether it's his choice or theirs. Mine came with exactly what I wanted (Toyoguard Plus and a bumper protector) from SET, on a week's wait.

While driving my Prius IV with sunroof at highway speeds, I thought that there might be an airleak or something. It is very loud, and to me it sounds like it is coming somewhere from the back of the car cabin. Sounds like others are having similiar experiences...

Hmmm, maybe Toyota is "quietly' 'belling the cat' in case the feds decide our Prii are too quiet and will kill thousands of unsuspecting blind people.
