Prius Chat.com store issue

    Hey, so I put an order in on 7/6 for the weathertech floor mats for my prius on the website store. They billed my account right away but i have heard nothing form them and they will not reply to my emails. Has anyone had this problem before? Anybody have contact info? Im pretty upset right now, they cost $285 and I feel like im being burnt..........PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Hey, thanks for the quick reply. I have tried emailing her multiple times and there is no reply. I just want a response knowing that one day I will get them. I bought from them before with luck, but this time has been a nightmare!

    I am pretty sure that Danny and Nichole are the middle-men connecting Prius owners with suppliers. He's had some issues with vendors in the past but the ones he's aware of have been ironed out.

    I know that Danny and Nichole recently moved which could impede their ability to communicate as regularly as they usually do.

    Danny's not out to screw anyone. Priuschat, this free community, is his main source of income and he takes it very seriously.

    I have the same problem with no response with e-mail-Its not a great way to run a business, you can set up a blanket e-mail letting everyone know about a move-but having nothing returned will make me not use them in the future.

    I am having a very similar problem. I ordered a cargo mat on July 15. They promptly billed my credit card for the full amount. I emailed them for several days concerning the status of the order before I finally got a response saying that it would ship out the next day (about 2 days ago). Since then I can get no confirmation that the shipment was actually made.

    I am having this same problem. It has been past the 7-10 days that was stated also. I even tried calling the number that billed me and it goes right to voicemail. Makes me nervous when I get billed right away and then hear nothing back. I know they are not out to get anyone but a response would be nice.

    Yea I know they arnt out to get anyone. I have checked my order status everyday and tried to contact them everyday. Thanks for the support though. I hope it goes ok

    Same issue here--ordered on july 5 and 6, and never heard anything when I emailed them because they billed my CC and the online acct only says processing, now > 2 weeks after order placed and billed. Danny finally responded to my email to say he would check into it but then never got back to me again....

    Placed an order 3 days ago for 2 items one of which was for the incorrect year car. Just received an email from nicole noting my request to make the change for the correct item. I hope this ships out correctly. Lets see when it arrives...

    I just received this by email:

    Hello. We are sorry for the confusion. Danny was unaware that you had been in email contact with me, which might be why you were receiving conflicting information. After we received your previous email confirming that you indeed wished to proceed with the order, your order was placed with our supplier. They ship via UPS first and later complete and email out invoicing that includes tracking information. If we shipped these items ourselves we would have tracking information for you directly, but we would lose the opportunity to offer this better pricing. We have requested a speedy reply for your tracking information, but in the meantime, your cargo mat should arrive to you within less than a week. We understand your frustration and apologize for the trouble.

    God Forbid D & N should ever go on vacation or have a family crisis or something :rolleyes: ... but I'm sure we've all been on both sides of the issue. What we do, is make contact prior to payment for things/supplies with the vendor/drop shiper ... if time is truly of the essence. But that's just us.

    I spoke with the OP this morning on the phone and got everything straightened out with his order. Now that we're in our new location we'll have a phone line setup next week for customer service. No more problems contacting us because I promise we don't plan on moving for a VERY long time :)

    I ordered close to $800 worth of items on Jul 21st. I have sent many emails asking the status and just received one back yesterday claiming I should receive my order in 10 days.

    I am extremely un happy. I ordered a new Prius that will be at the dealer at the end of this week that is 3 hours from my house. Part of the deal is they are going to install the remote start. I will ship the remote start when I received it.

    Everything I ordered was 100% Toyota OEM product. I do not understand why it takes so long to ship. They really need to tell people it could take 2 weeks or more before you receive product when you order on the site.

    The worse thing is they will not provide me any other details. Just 10 days. I sent email asking for more info. If I do not hear back today I probably will cancel my order and order the items from the dealer.

    I know it’s difficult to move but they can spend 1 hour a day to respond to emails.

    I am getting more and more upset over this transaction. I just checked my credit card. Here is what it shows.

    07/18/2009 BYERS DELAWARE AUTO DELAWARE OH $500.00
    07/20/2009 PRIUSCHAT SHOP 8032333995 SC $870.97

    The first transaction was the money they needed to order my Prius IV that will arrive then end of the week.

    The second is money Prius chat billed my card for items that will not ship for weeks. This is just wrong.

    Hi Judgeless, I just wanted to clarify a few statements you've made "judging" the PC Shop. We are sorry for missing the email you sent over the weekend and we are happy that you still proceeded with placing your order on Tuesday. The order update statement you received citing a shipping time of "5 to 10 business days" is a general statement that we update all orders with since that timeframe encapsulates the shipping time of most of our products (except for the Shark Fins, which are custom-painted to order). You were never told that your product would not arrive to you for 5 to 10 days or "weeks", as you stated. In fact, most of our OEM parts ship out of Cleveland so it is likely that you will see overnight shipping service for most of your order.

    We hope our email to you helped to explain that we do not have a link on PriusChat that claims 5-10 business days because we ship outside of the US and that time frame would not work for others. Rather we choose to treat each situation individually. Which is why we also include in the update statement that we will provide tracking as soon as we have it (if provided from our shipping partners).

    I just sent an email to both the PC.com store and also CanvasWorks direct for my recent order on a Front HeatShield. The first response came from CanvasWorks (the supplier) and I asked them to contact Danny or Nichole for a status on my order. Within about 30 minutes, Nichole contacted me and said they are upgraded their communication system with their suppliers. Hopefully things get better!

    Danny,

    Congratulations on the move to hopefully a bigger and better facility for the PriusChat Shop. I had emailed a couple of weeks ago but thought I would ask here as well since I haven't had a response to my email yet.

    Do you plan on adding or trying to add the Tom's performance parts such as the tower strut brace to the PriusChat Shop? I was hoping to get a little bit better price than having to order it from Carson Toyota. I REALLY miss my BT Front Tower Brace.

    Thanks for the help keep up the GREAT work on the site.
