    Yes i know im new to the board. i just bought my (new to me ) 2001 lol..

    Now i want a 2010 badd...

    but back to the story... Don't you HATE it when someone posted a question to a similar problem you had, or have.. and they dont EVER return to the board, or post how they fixed it etc..

    lol

    ok sorry i had to vent...

    i'm new to this board, but im NOT new to the internet and other similar styled msg boards... (ie chevy, ford boards, etc...)

    Actually, yes. It is quite annoying. I have, on occasion, sent PMs to OPs asking for them to follow up to their thread. Much of the value on this site is not only the collection of knowledge possessed by the myriad members but also the resolutions to the questions, comments, issues and problems.

    Actually, I find it even more annoying when someone finds an old thread and then posts a question that is not even related to the original thread topic. It happens infrequently on PC, but happens regularly on another auto forum that I belong to.

    Know what is even more annoying? People that post a problem or question, the same one you have, then announce to everyone that they found a solution but don't share it with anyone else! :mad:

    p.s. and then after repeated pleas to share the answer you finally solve it and 4 months later they get back on with another problem but tell you they don't remember the solution to the prior problem. and then . . . oh never mind! :censored:

    In a similar vein, it bothers me when someone sends me a PM instead of posting relevant information for the thread. Why keep it a secret? It's like passing notes in school.

    Edit: An additional comment: I do, however, enjoy exchanging PMs where we mock the other posters in the thread.
