Has anyone ever been driving down the road and hit
the power button by mistake? What happened, or
should I say what would happen. My Brother and I
were on the way to the coast and he was driving and
I happen to think about it, don't have the nerve to
    try it however.

It will shift into neutral if above 7 mph. It's the same thing that happens if you push the Park button.

Actually, if you press and hold the Power button(about 3 sec), it will shut down the Hybrid system and shift the car into N. The only combo meter light is the shift indicator and the power mode is ACC. The brakes will still function from emergency backup. You can restart the car normally with your foot on the brake while you press Power again.

Try it out. Its fun. Make sure you are not in traffic though.
