Prius III w/sunroof???

There could be regional variations. I took delivery of a III with sun roof last week in North Carolina. No problem. I also believe there are plenty of other owners across the country with solar III's. Try another dealer?

 

That configuration does not ship to our region. The dealer can, however, do a "custom order" and try to acquire one from a different region for you.

Just ask around at a couple of dealers for this. If you mention that the other dealers don't seem willing to give you what you want, then I'm sure that one of them will be eager to take your business.

Thats what they're telling us here in NY too. No III with solar. I've been calling other regions. I've been told it'll be a few months before they start making them. I think it's a load of crock.
They want people to pay for leather. I don't want leather so I guess I'll have to wait.

I have one. We got it in the end of June in Indiana (Chicago Region)

 

According to the poll there are 26 III with sunroof on PriusChat,
but 119 IV with sunroof.

 

We got a III with the sunroof in So Cal on July 25th. (they are really hard to come by, IVs were no problem but I don't do leather).

 

I put a deposit down for two Prius 3 with solar roofs on 6/20/09 from a metro Atlanta dealer. My silver Prius with dark gray interior arrived 7/22/09. My wife’s red Prius with bisque interior arrived 7/28/09. We got exactly what we wanted. The dealer put our names on them before they arrived in the port of Jacksonville so we were able to get them with carpeted mats as the only distributor added option. No Toyoguard.
