I have a 2008 with reverse camera, as well. I know what you mean about the perspective that the camera gives. It definitely appears to provide a view from a higher vantage point from where it is mounted and distances sometimes appear to be distorted. However, my camera is mounted to the left of the rear license plate, just under the air foil. Its not particularly obvious and, in fact, it took me several minutes just to find the little bugger.

As for radion reception, I have noticed that I am no longer able to pick up a station that broadcasts just a few miles from my house. I have an aftermarket Sirius radio that I listen to predominantly, though, so this issue has not been particularly problematic for me. As far as antennae, my 2008 has the "straw"-type antennna that others here have mentioned.

I noticed on a recent long-distance trip that my FM radio reception was pretty bad whenever my Sirius after-market unit was on. When I turned the unit off, my FM reception improved dramatically. Is it possible to power off the factory-installed satellite radio when listening to FM?
