Not exactly the answer to the topic, but... Is there a way to use an older, non-bluetooth, phone with a 2010 II? I mean, is there some kind of adapter that would allow me to use the phone with the car? I'm not 'bluetooth smart', but I see where the mic 'grill' is on the roof and maybe there is such a thing as a 'bluetooth adapter' that I could use to make the system work with my older phone? It's a Nokia 1100.

Blackberry 8300 works great. On a recent trip used nav to show upcoming motels. when I hit the show motels rest., etc thing it poped up a phone number. Just touched the number and it called the motel. Now I realize this may be common to some of you but I traded an old Xterra for my Prius IV so the tech stuff is all new to me.

Samsung Blackjack II (AT&T) works just fine with the Blu Logic. No problems that I can see.

    1) HTC Pocket PC (Smart Phone), Model TITA100, Alltel -- This is a work phone and it connected up just great - very easy. The 800+ contacts were transferred to the Prius very quickly. I haven't tried individual contacts.

    2) Sony Ericsson W300i, ATT&T. Connected great. Entire phone book transferred great. Haven't tried transferring individual phone book entries.

Both of these phones transferred to the 2010 much easier than to the 2004/2005/2006.

    2010 III w/Nav

I got the phone and contacts to transfer with no problem. At first I had a difficult time connecting the iPod/Music part of my iPhone to the Nav system. Then I tried again and it connected with no problems.

Now I am able to listen to music, make and receive phone calls with the Nav/Bluetooth system. The only thing I don't like is that I have to use the iPhone to move to the next/previous music track.

My Blackberry 8320 transferred contacts without a problem. I seem to recall that you can initiate the transfer from either the phone or the car, and one of those didn't immediately work for me, but the other did. Try both ways and see if that helps.

Bluetooth "adapters" were made for some phones. They usually plugged into the data/charging port, but sometimes the headset port. Check with your carrier, especially one of their decent brick-and-mortar stores that sells a lot of phones and accessories. If they don't have one, they may be able to order one. Also google search it - you may have some luck.

HTC Mogul and Motorola Q9c, both from Sprint, work fine with Bluetooth.

Car is Prius IV without Nav.

Yes, the microphone IS in the roof.

Palm PRE works fine. I use mine to test the cars all the time. :) So did my Samsung Instinct before I upgraded to the PRE.

Verizon's LG Versa worked with my 2005 and now works with the 2010. Contacts easily transferred in the 2010.

Sorry for the tangential derail, but does this present any call quality problems? Other than the previously mentioned "don't point the vents at it" one.
