You are very lucky my friend, the dealership we were going to buy ours (blizzard pearl) through, sold the car out from under us. Was then told there were only three Blizzard Pearls left in Texas! Went with the second color of choice which was Classic Silver, and another dealership had only one left on the lot. He sold 10 Prius's in one day and the one we bought at 10 till closing was number 10. So we finally got one after 3 dealerships and a lot of headaches. But with the CFC, they are having a hard time keeping the Prius's on the car lots for more then a couple of hours.

Just glad we got one. ;)

    Congrats my fellow Texan! :)

Yes, I feel very lucky. Basically, the stars aligned, and up until the minute I signed the papers, I didn't think I'd get the state rebate. I'm still expecting, with all the talk about CFC deals not going through and dealers calling customers about returning the car/paying the difference/etc, to get a call any day that the paper work did not go through. Just paranoid thinking I know, but I'll be happy when things are all in the clear.

I understand, I never had this many issue buying a car. Sad part is we started when the CFC started, so we picked a hell of a time to start buying. Keep your chin up and hopefully all will be well. :)

Settled on a trim II in the Blizzard Pearl after waiting three weeks for a trim III w/o the Basic nav - I was only after the bluetooth, really. Finding a III nowadays w/o basic nav pre-loaded is really really difficult, so I decided on an after-market bluetooth on a II instead.

This poll is really filling up fast now. Today there are 723 voters! Do you think the C4C had something to do with the increase in new Prius purchases?

Today I saw three 2010's on my to and from work. None with a solar roof though.

Well, speaking just for myself, I wouldn't have bought a Prius at this time if it wasn't for C4C. And my girlfriend's best friend would have bought one as well under the program if there had been one in her area she could have found.

We got a III in Winter Grey w/ Misty Grey interior.

No packages....just the all-weather floor mats and that applique on the bumper.

We wanted a II with nothing added, but since we were on waiting lists for every dealer in the area and were told it would be at least two or three months, we took what we could get as fast as we could. Hubby's 1989 Cougar hobbled to the scrap-metal dealer the day before we got the call from Broadway Toyota in Portland. He called them Friday morning and they called him Friday afternoon because whoever had a deposit down on this car didn't want it. So, hubby rushed down there as fast as my old car could carry him and he managed to get in the door before anyone else and he got it.

Unfortunately, the Cougar was rated at 20 MPG so we didn't get the Cash for Clunkers money, but we did get $100 from the wreckers. I'm just grateful we didn't have to pay to get rid of it. :p

I had been looking for a IV + nav, but they're scarce in the Bay Area. I did find a dealer in Burlingame with a few, but one was taken, one was blue (with something that ruled it out that I forget), and the third was red with beige leather. Red was low on my list of choices and I would have managed -- but like I told the dealer: I'm going to be the guy who ends up with no car because he couldn't deal with a beige interior.

They did have one V in Winter Gray with the Misty Gray interior. It wasn't in the original plan, but some reworking of the finances and it was mine. I'm definitely glad that I went this route. After having an 02 Mazda Tribute for nearly eight years, this is the most fun I've had driving in quite some time! :)

We love ours! That was actually my first color choice so I was really happy with the turn of events. Hubby wanted the silver originally, but I think he likes the Winter Grey now, too.

He is a little worried that when it starts raining here in Portland again that that color will be hard to see but he's a person who always drives with the headlights on anyway so I don't think it should be that big of a deal.

It's a much better color than silver (my '06 was silver). Although it's grey, this particular shade is darker and has more color in it than other dark greys, such as the magnetic grey. Those greys are more neutral and tend to merge into the background. Also, the large headlights and taillights really stand out against the winter grey. It won't be less visible than silver in the rain.

I had a dark grey Mitsubishi Galant a while ago. That color seemed to blend in completely with the tarmac. I was hit badly from behind while stopped at a light about 6 months after I had bought it (I wasn't hurt, but it caused over $3,000 worth of damage). Then several more times cars had nearly backed into me -- I'm assuming they just didn't see the car.

Took delivery of my black Prius II yesterday from Earl Stewart Toyota in North Palm Beach (FL) yesterday. The buying process was a pleasure and the price was fair. I only waited about a week for delivery. I'm loving the car so far, especially since I traded in a 2000 Isuzu Rodeo with no functioning a/c or fuel guage. Appreciate all the helpful info and news on this site.

Barcelona Red w/Bisque interior, Package II.

Bought her across the river in Illinois (Alton Toyota Scion.)

Basically I was calling around like mad during the last few days of C4C but could only find a couple Vs, way beyond my price range (and I would still have needed to drive a loooooong ways). Gave a couple sales guys my number in case a deal fell through, making sure they knew I was ready to go and all my paperwork for C4C was in order. I'd basically given up on Saturday morning as many dealers were already stopping taking C4C deals in order to have time for paperwork, but a sales guy called and said they had a red pkg II available. Someone supposedly ordered it but by the time it arrived had decided they wanted an upgraded package instead so ordered a new one. I put a deposit on it over the phone, drove over there, took her for a test drive, and took her home that night, leaving my 95 Nissan Pathfinder with their long line of clunkers. Obviously not a lot of negotiating room, so I paid MSRP.

Got the package I wanted; the color is fine - not my top choice (dark gray or blue), but not my bottom choice either (beige). Would have liked the gray interior, but not a big deal. Getting about 48 mpg it seems so far, compared to 15-17 for the Pathfinder. I'm a happy camper.

Just got my III last night, blue ribbon metallic. Had money down on a red IV, when it came in I changed my mind, and went and found my car in 3 days at another dealer.

Winter gray and dark gray interior.

Had it about 1 month so far and loving every minute of it!

Only 2 things I've seen so far:
    1) Widely discussed blury AC screen
    2) NAV system! I'm upset that my wife can't find POIs while I'm driving and that sometimes the nav system seems to take strange routes that are quite a few miles further and slower. I wish I could connect my tomtom to the built-in screen and I'd be golden.

Winter grey with sunroof here too!

I think the trick with the nav is to always program in a destination before you start driving. Once you are moving, you can find nearby POIs or POIs "along route".

Prius IV - No Package :) (wish they offered sun roof; no nav.)

Blizzard Pearl/Dark Gray Interior (awesome color combo  )

All weather cargo/floor mats, cargo organizer, cargo net.

I've been waiting for the 2010's for a long time, ever since I read about the new re-design in an auto magazine about 2 years ago. It's been worth the wait! :D
