How much is your local dealer charging for the 5K service on your Gen III (with synthetic 0W20)? I've called around local dealers and been quoted everything from $85 to $190 (for an attempted ripoff "premium" service that the dealer tried to pass off as the standard service until I pressed them on it). Unbelievable. I thought I was done with shady sales practices when I closed the deal on my car.

I've allowed multiple answers in the poll to take into account multiple dealers you may have contacted.

Perhaps you could change the poll to allow for an under $50 dealer service. My first 5,000-mile service was $41.95.

Unfortunately I don't seem to be able to edit the poll itself, just my original post.

    Great poll, thanks!

Glad you left the option for multiple answers rather than radio buttons (yes, once you set the poll up I don't think it can be changed). One of the choices covered two dealers I contacted but I also plan on doing at least one oil change myself.

The dealer I bought the car from said it was $90 because, "...we rotate the tires and do some other stuff". So I called the dealer that's closest to us and they said $45. Needless to say I'll be going to the local dealer. Would've bought the car there too, had I not been given the runaround by the sales staff.

Like my Gen II, I expect to pay my dealer around $50 every 5,000 miles. My 5,000 mile first Gen III dealer service cost $83.26 becasue of the NitroFill (38/36 psi).

Oil, Filter, tire rotation and multi-nothing inspection $46.90, nitrogen tire fill $24.95 and tax, shop supplies & disposal fees of $11.41, for a total of $83.26

Nitrogen tire fill? You know that's as effective as the "intake tornado" and a fuel line magnet don't you?
