:tape:... No, no I can't... OMG, [IMG]

That just so doesn't look like it belongs...

But to each his own, I am sure some will like it, so as always just my preference.

be like putting wood-grain contact paper on the space shuttle.

But "Toyota Prius 2010 & UP, Basic Kit, 35 Pcs. Dash kit is available in wood grain, aluminum, or carbon fiber. "

The sporty steering wheel looks out of place with wood.

At least they use 100% real wood in Lexus. If you want wood, get the HS250h or the RX450h.

ok.... dark wood in a dark grey interior looks worse than I had pictured in my head. (mostly cause the dark grey isn't dark enough)

I got four samples mailed to me. The real Black carbon fiber is my favorite thus far. The real blue carbon was lighter than the blue carbon on the gear shifter knob so that's a no go. The regular carbon fiber looks tacky, especially next to the real one, The aluminum looks nice but doesn't match the silver on the wheel and the base of the gear shifter.

If you request any samples you can get up to five. I'm still on the fence.

NO, NO, NO. I agree, the stick on "flat" type decals above look terrible.

The Dash Kit I saw (below) has volume and texture, is not applied to everything that doesn't move, is applied over the existing parts and looked pretty good.

My only question was about availablily in a darker color to compliment the gray interiors. The light color dask kit looked good with the bisque interior.

I agree, and I thought the kit in the first post looked terrible, even with a bisque interior, because it clashed with the dashboard.

Here's mine from BDTrims. Overall I like it.
It definitely spruces up the interior at first look, and I'm sure after a month it'll be a forgotten feature.

For a nightmare effect go with the avocado formica trim.

Very nice job. Was it difficult to do?

Think I'm going to order one.

We have OEM wood trim in our Honda Pilot and I really like it but then there are wood accents on the steering wheel as well. I think the matching steering wheel tends to anchor the look and give it a sense of permanence. Of course, it was much pricier too. I've never seen one of these kits but, based on the price, I'm inclined to believe there must be a quality difference as well.
