Just purchased the All Weather rubber cargo and floor mats. For those of you in the midwest or northeast, I found the best deal on ebay from "toyotapartsnow" who appears to be a Toyota dealer in Ohio. Buy-It-Now was $70 for the floor mats and $65 for the cargo mat. Combined shipping was $18, but would be more to other regions and might make a difference. $153 for both including shipping was the lowest price I could find.

Are these the "reversible mats" with rubber on one side and carpet on the other?

I assumed they were all rubber. They are supposed to be the OEM Toyota accessory mats. I'll let you know for sure in a few days when I get them.

They are Toyota OEM mats, all rubber on both sides, with grips on the bottom. Some have a Prius logo. The cargo mat is in two pieces to allow you to open the storage compartment. Got them in 2 days, not too bad. The dealer is Metro Toyota Scion.

    Question:

My 2010 Prius came with floor mats but I just noticed that the owners manual shows they should be secured with a J-hook. My mats did not come with the hook. Did your mats come with it. I suppose I could go back to the dealer and "demand" my J-hook. I justs did not know if this is something you could purchase separately. I Googled it and came up with nothing.

The dealer should have installed them at delivery. The rubber mats also come with a pair of J-hooks for the driver's side. I doubt they cost much, but your dealer should give them to you.

I did the Clunker deal the first day it was offered. The salesman grabbed my '95 Villager on the spot to clinch the deal but the Prius I wanted wasn't coming in for a few days. It was coming in with standard carpeted floor mats.

The sales manager loaned me his Corolla Sport demo while I waited for my new car. His demo had all-weather mats. I liked them so much that, when I picked up my Prius, I asked if they would be willing to swap out the carpeted mats for a new set of Prius all-weathers. They readily agreed, ordered the official Prius 2010 all-weathers, and gave me an IOU for the Parts Dept.

As the Parts guy handed them over to me, he commented on how much more he likes Toyota's rubber mats vs. the carpeted ones. He jokingly told me they're so durable they might last longer than the car.:D

I'm glad I thought to ask for the swap...the all-weathers are great! Super at catching all the everyday grit that drops off your shoes as well as the nasty stuff.

And, yes...mine came packaged with 2 spare j-hooks, though I didn't need them -- the dealer had left the original hooks installed when he pulled the carpeted mats. So now I've got extras in case the originals break.

When I got my Prius I had chosen the all weather mats. They had the mats reversed and they did not install the hooks. When we were doing all the paperwork, etc there was a small little plastic package with the hooks in the folder. My salesperson told me he thought I already had hooks, and told me I could have them in case I needed them. Good thing he gave them to me because there were no hooks installed in my car. I figured that out a week later after reading that section of the manual and I installed them. I agree that the dealer should give them to you as they should have been included with the mats already installed.

My car came with the carpeted mats and the hooks. I later bought the all-weather mats. I think I have a couple of hooks from that purchase in the cargo bin in the rear hatch, but damn you, now I have to check. :p

There is a dealer on ebay selling them with a BIN price of $160 with free shipping. Bing cashback in currently 10%, so that would make them $144. That's a pretty good deal I think. I'm just mad I didn't buy them when bing CB was 15% a day ago. Then they would have been $136 after CB, which have been very slick indeed! I may wait to see if bing CB increases in the next few days before placing an order.

Initially I was impressed by the Weathertech cargo mat. However after more research, I discovered that the toyota oem all weather mat was two pieces to allow for easy access to the recessed area of the trunk, which I like. The other thing that bugs me about the Weathertech cargo mat is that it has a lip along the back edge against the seats... This means if I want to put the seats down and slide in something large, that lip is going to get in the way of things. Sure it is flexable but it will be annoying.

With this in mind I just purchased the Toyota OEM cargo mat and am confident it is the better choice for the cargo area. However, I do intend to buy the weathertech all weather floor mats once they are available since I feel they are a better product covering the sides of the carpet in the floor where the Toyota ones don't.

Does anyone have a photo of the all weather floor mats in a dark gray interior? :)

Dang! Too bad I didn't see this earlier. I have 2 spare sets of hooks from replacing carpeted mats with all-weather mats in both of my Priuses. Your dealer really screwed you around not installing the hooks in the first place.
