If I recall there was an actual recall about the floor mats. Some complains the all weather floor mats slide up and hold on to the gas and causing accident. the fix is to make sure there is no carpet mats under the all weather floor mats. And if memory serves me right, there was another issue with broken clips that hold the original all weather floor mats. And part of the recall (or is it a service bulletin) is to replace/install broken clips as well.

I have got a 'tray' like floor mats, which pretty much cover the whole floor area and I like it. Esp in :canada: during winter, you can never estimate how much snow/salt water/dirt/crap getting into your car.

Now I just need to find/buy another set of 'tray' like mats for the back, and maybe for the trunk.

I do have a semi-hard plastic board that pretty much fit in the trunk area, except there is not much fraction and whatever I put there pretty much sliding at the back while I am driving.... And I already have a small dent on my rear bumper, I really need the rubber mat for bumper as well...

I know PriusShop has it, but shipping kills the deal. :(

I have had these floor mats for 3 years and they are now totally a mess. The ones with the ridges/water gutters are now basically shredded and today my shoe got caught in the mat while I was driving.

Are there any others that someone could recommend?

I just got LL Bean Waterhog car floor mats (Item # TA57230) for my 08 and am so far pleased, but it's only been a week. I ordered 2 Large Front Mats (21" X 29" for $59.95 per pair) for the front and 2 Standard Front Mats (18" X 28" for $49.94 per pair) for the rear. They offer rear mats, but I find that passengers have a way of moving around rear mats due to their usual smallish size, and then putting their feet anyplace other than on the mat. The upper mat surface is polyester sculptured (hard to describe) carpet in a pattern of rows; the underside mat surface is rubber with grippy teeth. Bonus green factor-they're partially made from recycled plastic bottles.

The front fit is perfect except the one corner covering half of the remote fuel release pull handle. LL Bean states in their description that the Large mat can be trimmed, but I'm going to leave it and just slide my finger under the mat when I buy gas. The Standard size mat placed on the rear floor ends up extending way under the front seat. I hope this will prevent passengers from moving them. Plus, the mat's grippy rubber underside should keep them in place.

The Bean floor mat color of gray is slightly darker than my gray interior and looks great. The website color picture looks lighter than they really are. Other mat colors are khaki and burgundy. The customers who reviewed these floor mats on the LL Bean website rate them very highly, saying they're worth the money, absorb dirt, mud, and precip in all forms, will last forever, clean eaily and look like new after cleaning. I don't pay shipping/handling because I have an LL Bean VISA and I don't know what shipping costs are for these. They also offer a cargo mat in 2 sizes (Item #TA57230), but I'm not interested in a cargo mat right now.

Is there any chance of these mats slipping?

I bought the factory all weather mats when I purchased my 09. I too had an issue with my shoe working a hole in the mat where the heel makes contact, but I have to admit they were great for water, dirt and snow. The dealer, however, stole them when they "upgraded" me to the thinnest all weather mats I have ever seen, under the Prius sudden acceleration recall. I keep telling them, "But, I paid extra for the Sudden Acceleration Package!" The new mats suck, and they insisted on taking the passanger side mat, as well...

I loved the HUSKY line in my Toyota truck, had them for 12 years and were as good the day I sold the truck as they were new - and they lived through snow, mud and rocks of rural New Mexico...

Ordering some for Blue, will try to figure out how to add link as I'm a new member...

They're called Husky Weather Beater Floor Mats, Item number: 98521.

Will let know how I like them once they're in.

I've been obsessively (yes that's the word) reading posts and threads here for 4 weeks now - thanks Prius Chat!!!

Sorry to bring back such an old thread, but is there a way to buy the oem all-weather floor and cargo mats for an 09 Prius? Does it have to be through calling the dealer? Why doesnt toyota have a way to order online?

    Thank!

I have no idea if you finally got your all weather floor mats, but what you should do is check the salvage yards.

Hi All. I've noticed lots of comments and pictures of mats, but no links to buy them online. I really want OEM mats. Where can I get them? A Google search only returns non-OEM results. HELP?!

Wish I could get these mats in Australia for a decent price. Shipping from the US costs as much (if not more) as the mats themselves.

i had the pre recall mats, and I liked them until my heel wore a hole through it. then I tried to buy another set, and the ebay pix were of the old mats, but they sent the recall mats, which are smaller and my heel wore through even quicker. so I bought the weathertech, which so far seem to be tougher than oem and have a good retention system so they don't move at all. near as I can tell, the whole problem with floor mats interfering with the pedal was morons that stack multiple mats. can't fix stupid, so they chopped off the pedal and made the floor mats smaller instead.
