Is 'Prius' logo on clear bumper guard readable on Blizzard Pearl paint?

If you have the new clear bumper protector with 'Prius' logo on your 2010 Prius with Blizzard Pearl paint, can you read the logo or does the logo just blend into the paint color? Also, is the clear protector very sturdy?

I think I saw pictures posted in one of the other threads, but if nothing turns up I can put one up here. Yes the letters show up easily (but tastefully) against the white. It's basically paint protection film so should deal ok with the occastional suitcase dragged across it. If you are hauling lumber and seriously abusing the rear bumber yu should probably go with the black rubber/plastic one.

Here's mine. BTW, people ask me if the license plate means something. Nope, it's just the one they handed me.

    Nice on white...

On red, well another story. It took 3 tries to have this one installed.

First, at the port a black protector was installed. Seen it at delivery-riiiip off it went.

Then at a the dealer a week later applique installed - wrong one, a generic one that stretched almost the length of the bumper. Went to pick up the car-riiiiip off it went.

Then finally after working with their parts guy online, located the right one. Installed. Here it is. After all that not really worth it. You need to be in the right spot with the right light to see it.

    Oh well.

As you can see, it's pretty visible on the Blizzard Pearl. I like that I can read it on the NAV display with the back up camera. Really helps when backing into my spot at work in the parking structure to really see the bumper getting closer to the wall. Seems to be a quality piece. I think it's a worth while investment. Besides, it's not that expensive and good insurance to help protect that back bumper especially in our case when we're loading up a stroller in a couple of months and all the gear to go along with it.

    Hi:

Being in Canada this option is not presently available to us. The only Rear Bumper Protection is the Black Moulded Rubber which is like something I had on my previous car (2007 Mazda 3GT Sport). Seeing this as a 'different' option I was going to have one of the online companies send it to me (PC Shop, etc.).

However, it just so happened that my daughter who lives in Alberta, Canada was visiting British Columbia and popped across into Washington State, picked it up from one of the Toyota Dealers there (Wilson Motors) and sent it to me on Friday.

Looking forward to getting it in the next day or so and installing it. After seeing it on Rick's Blizzard Pearl (mine is too) I feel it will be a nice touch to that, or any colour for that matter.

    Take care.....

On Bliz Prl it looks nice and is "thick" enough to easily feel the edges.
It already saved my paint when somebody cleaned their shoes on my rear bumper.

Does anyone know the Toyota part number for this? My car got hit and they have to repaint my bumper. The body shop ordered the clear decal but they said when it came in it was the wrong one.

    Hi Zaxcom:

Here is the part number you needed.

    PT747-47101

I ordered this from a Toyota Dealer in Washington State earlier this month as my daughter was going through there during a visit from British Columbia. She picked it up at Wilson Motors Toyota and mailed it to me when she returned to Canada. This part is still not available for us and as you can see from the pictures it looks very nice on Blizzard Pearl which is what I have. Also seen it on Blue Ribbon Metallic which is also nice.

    Hope this helps you........
