Mark57 already confirmed that without being such a p***k about it 18 minutes before your post.

I am having issues getting the clips to go in for the top hole of the front mud flaps (the ones provided in the bag). Any advice? I tried knocking them in but no luck.

Actually, Mark said that they were for the 2009 model but worked on the 2010, which is incorrect. And I thought my post was relatively polite given that you essentially said you couldn't be bothered reading through the thread to find the answer to your question (which was on page 2 of the thread) and wanted someone else to do it for you. If you disagree then I'm happy to continue this conversation offline.

I can't really help you since I re-used the ones that were installed. I just removed them and then put them back in. When I was looking at those new clips/plugs they looked a little long and thinner.

Have you tried to re-use the ones that you took out?

Has anyone installed these without having to remove the rear wheels? I'm trying to figure out how much time to set aside to install them.

I messed around and fiddled with it for more than half an hour before I pulled the rear wheel and it takes 5 mins to do it. I would pull the wheel to do it.

It can be done but took less time for me to pull the wheel and do it.(I have a floor jack also so that makes it easier to pull the wheel):)

    Rolf,

Is that link just for the bezel? (I'll try not to pull my hair out when I think I could have combined shipping on the bezel!!!) If not, which is the bezel part number?

    Thanks!

This is bezel and mud (please look at the link) - if they haven't shipped your mud, call them early AM, and ask to add the bezel - they'll create a special auction without shipping for you. If they've shipped your mud, then you get the dubious pleasure of another $35 shipping charge.

When you talk with them, ask them to make a permanent auction for the bezel (as it seems a good thing)..

The charge isn't all that bad as it is 2 day air (or so it seems from everyone here).

Mine shipped Monday and I received them today. Great service.

Now if it will quit raining I will install them.

The listing is really confusing...it just lists 3 part numbers without any indication of what they are.

Hi - fyi, I just wrote to the seller and asked him to clarify what each part is in that listing and to post some pics. The first 2 are for the mud-flaps (front and rears) and I'm guessing the 3rd is for the bezel (but I couldn't find anything matching that part number). I'm not expecting an answer till after the weekend, though. Hopefully they will revise their ebay listing sometime next week with better info.

I'm definitely interested in the mud-flaps, but I was wondering what the bezel is and what is does?

    Thanks.

You do not want the bezel unless you are upgrading your head unit. Please look at audio for more info than you really want on the stereo bezel.

OK - you can buy one or the other mud flaps here - $20UK shipping on each set.
    Front Flaps:
TOYOTA PRIUS GENUINE FRONT MUD FLAPS MUDFLAPS 2009 ON on eBay (end time 20-Sep-09 11:49:16 BST)

    Rear Flaps:
TOYOTA PRIUS GENUINE REAR MUD FLAPS MUDFLAPS 2009 ON on eBay (end time 20-Sep-09 12:17:06 BST)

    Front P/N: PZ416-G0960-00
    RearP/N: PZ416-G0961-00

Or you can buy both of these in one combined auction with one shipping charge ($20UK) (A MUCH BETTER DEAL) here:TOYOTA PRIUS GENUINE FRONT AND REAR MUDFLAPS 2009> - eBay (item 250496934099 end time Oct-11-09 06:07:04 PDT) - this is what most everyone should be ordering - the auction clearly shows the two part numbers, and one shipping charge.

There is now yet one more auction that features both mud flaps *and* a plastic stereo head unit bezel - please note - this bezel has nothing to do with mud flaps - you will only use this auction if you are upgrading your stereo - these threads can be seen in the Audio section.
For the record, the bezel part number and trail is located here: http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...68362-p-n-55405-47080-surround-head-unit.html

    This is part number 55405-47080.

    Good luck !

    Hi Everyone:

Well, after being shipped on September 14th, 2009 my order from Pentagon Toyota Sheffield arrived today!! :)

Actually it was in my area on Friday for delivery but for some reason unknown to me the Fedex Rep. in our area didn't come before 5PM as he was suppose to have. Oh well, I guess the main thing is that they arrived.

Plan to have them installed this week before we go on a road trip for the weekend. Thanks to Laufaye for creating this thread, Rrolff for finding the eBay Seller (Pentagon Toyota Sheffield) and especially Topkick for his PM assistance to me.

Hopefully one of these days Toyota will bring them to our market so we won't have to go 'overseas' to get them.

    Take care.....

Just ordered my yesterday... see how long they take to get to Alaska. Looking forward to not getting as much crud on the rear quarter panels and in the doors. Have you all with the flaps noticed a difference?

    Thank you rrolff! :)

I did get an e-mail back from the eBay seller (pentagonsheffield) this morning. ...and here's what I learned. They created an eBay listing for the mud flaps and the bezel together because they had an interested buyer, so they ended up posting that listing for anyone else who might be interested in that combination.

If there is more than one item a buyer is interested in, Pentagon Toyota Sheffield will create a special listing for those items with one shipping rate. One only has to ask.

I, myself am only interested in the mud flaps which I will be ordering today. Thank you to whoever initiated the combined listing of both front and rear mud flaps.

All shipping is sent by Fed Ex to the U.S.A. so a physical address is needed. No P.O. Boxes. That's why the shipping is so high.

Thank you, everyone for all your helpful posts! :D
