for those that thought they were smelly. if you stick your nose in the cellophane packaging immediately upon opening, then yes, i agree they smell funny. BUT, if you leave them open and come back to them later, there is no smell. i left mine in the open overnight since they arrived Friday and i installed them Saturday morning. i have never noticed a smell since i installed them in the car. get over it people, these things do not have a smell, that is noticable, after opening the package.

I aired them out for a week, but still found it noticeable and don't like the feel in any case. I actually agree most people would not notice it.

I purchased the 11 pads for my new 2010 Prius. They were of good quality and the price is reasonable. Excellent communication and quick shipping. Highly recc.

Just got mine, and couldn't be happier. Just have to tack down the rear cupholder ones and the coin tray piece as previously stated. Good job Wilson!

Ordered these console pads after reading so much about them right here.

Shipping was very fast and the communication was excellent.

All the pads were cut perfectly and clearly marked to indicate where to place them. The color blends in great with the dark gray interior. They work by keeping things from sliding around.

Installed mine today! I had cut my own for a pickup and it took a lot of time and monkey motion to get a good fit! 11 pieces for $35 seemed like a great deal considering it took about 5 minutes to install them all with a perfect fit! I'd sure do it again!

The smell from mine was strong for a day or so and went away completely after a week or two. If you don't want to deal with the smell at all just take them out of the package and lay them out on a shelf in your garage for a week.

For anyone who has already purchased these pads, what did you do with the piece of color-coordinated felt liner in the storage area underneath the center controls? Did you toss it or install the pad on top of it?

I put the rubber pads on top of the console and armrest felt pads.

I installed these in my 2010 Prius and am very happy with the result. They fit perfectly and included some double-sided tap that can be used on the cup holder pads to help keep them in place.

My order was processed quickly. Great product, I'd recommend.

Got mine fast too. They fit well and don't smell like others complained.
Cons: I think they are pricey.

Got mine recently as well. Very happy with them. A slight smell right after I opened the package. But within a couple of hours nothing.

Got mine for the 2010 Prius before the car actually arrived. They fit perfectly, and I never noticed any odor. I highly recommend this product, but I also agree it is pricey for some precisely-cut mouse pad material. DIY is possible, but exact fit and good edges will be hard to obtain.

For the cup holders, instructions recommend putting a piece of the supplied double-stick tape in the bottom before putting the pads in, since they can stick to moist containers. I found this very tedious; it is much easier to peel off one side of sticky, put the tape on the pad, peel off the other side, and then put the pad in, pressing down to seat it.

I have the rest of the tape in the console storage if I need it in other places.

Got the set after I bought my car...very nice product. Previously in other vehicles I have used shelf lining material in this fashion but these are precision cut and fit as if they came from the factory.

    Highly recommend

They work great and I've not noticed any smell at all. Shipping was extremely fast. I agree this is something Toyota should have included as standard equipment (they look like standard equipment!). A highly-recommended add-on.
