Is the Generation III seat fabric the same as was in Generation II? I ask because there are a number of threads in Gen II about cleaning the fabric, and I want to be sure that those threads are still good for Generation III.

I don't know about cleaning ease, but the Gen III fabric is way much nicer-looking. :)

Don't know either but its not going to last long and attracts lint like a magnet (and snags too if I was not so carefull). First time I have had non-leather in over 10 years. I was going to get leather put in right away but decided to wait a year or so and just "have at it" as an experiment. Then I don't have to live with 7 year old leather; just 5 or 6 before I sell it!

I'm going with sheepskin covers myself. Just have to decide which ones to get. Hide the dirt much better (i have dogs).

The gen ii material is quite resilient. Mine is six years old and still looks great. I was in a gen iii but I forgot what the material was like. I think I'm ready for leather again. Much easier to clean.
