Funny you should mention vegemite and cheese. I tried the new product today, they they are still trying to name. I beleive it is a combination of vegemite and cream cheese sold in a jar. I must admit i thought it was very nice on cracker biscuits.

Three and a half years ago I would have said a cigarette and coffee or a cigarette and beer/liquor. Now, I can't stand the smell of smoke.

This sounds VERY GROSS but my wife loves a peanut butter and pickle sandwich. My kids and I haven't had the need to try that one yet.

french fries do have a lot of regional flavors. in the West, its chili and cheese. (ya, great health option) but this is "unusual" food combos so did not mention it.

around here Fries with just ketchup are labeled "diet fries"

Here is a weird one. RAW Chef Boyardee pizza dough. Just mix the dough with warm water like the instructions say, let it set for 20 min, eat and enjoy. :)

for some reason, "weird" just does not seem like a "strong" enough description

Like Pat, don't think that it is all unusual, but love peanut butter and honey on toast. My wife hates it, but loves peanut butter and strawberry jam.

The other one I love is vanilla ice cream with chilli powder.

I once experimented with french fries and sampled a whole bunch of toppings (well, whatever I had on hand in the fridge). I found barbecue sauce was the best, and mayonnaise was the worst. Mayo was even worse than I imagined it would be. Even homemade mayo couldn't save it. My Dutch friends love it, though.

    Ketchup (unsweetened!) on eggs.

Vanilla ice cream with peanut butter.

A local restaurant offers a pear and gorgonzola pizza. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to eventually.

    Everything is better with mustard.

Soooo... you've been to Tijuana too Huh Bra...

And yes... ranch does make lots of stuff edible... the grandkids call it "cold white gravy"... one of em was heard to say..."Papa, we like having gravy with dinner, cause if you have the right gravy, and put it on even stuff you hate, everything will go down easy"... even a 7yr old twin gets it.
