What do you like best about your Prius?

    I'm just interested in what everyone thinks is the best aspect of the Prius? What do you like the most and what do like the least?

    I am interested in what you think about the model V. I have not yet purchased my prius. Considering a V or a model IV is my problem I am trying to resolve.

    The 2010 just does it, achieves solid mileage, without having to do anything but just drive it to where you want to go. Sure there are some whose driving profiles that weaken Prius mileage but looking at the EPA and all other mileage collections, good, solid mileage is the default. It is a well integrated system without a whole lot of 'things to remember.'

    The least? I would have preferred having the dynamic cruise control and accident detection system offered as an option on all packages. Safety is not something that should require pretty but non-safety options.

    Along that line, I would prefer a direct ordering system with a fair 'port', 'region', and dealer 'tax' but letting me specify exactly the car and options I want ... even if I have to wait for it to be built and delivered (or picked up.) The other day I was at the dealership and there were three 2010 Prius whose windows had been darkened at the port. The prospective buyers never had a chance for clear, standard window Prius like ours.

    Upgraded interior materials. They feel more expensive even though i know they're probably not. Keep in mind I come from a 2005 Prius, not the 2006+ one with their upgraded interior over the 04-05 model.

    Least - No automatic headlights,Ugly Wheel Covers,Also wish i had a Hybrid monitor on the nav screen, My brothers Hy Hi displays digital values of the tire pressure wish the car did too for the price we paid.

    Most: Fuel Economy, 17" Wheels, DRCC (Dynamic Radar Cruise Control), PCS (Pre-Collision System), LKA (Lane Keep Assist), LDW (Lane Departure Warning), IPA (Intelligent Park Assist), Beltless Engine, Chainless CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), Electric Engine Auxiliaries (Air Conditioner, Water Pump etc.), European Tuned Steering and Suspension, 4 User Selectable Driving Modes (ECO, Normal, Power and EV), Voice Activated Navigation System, Comfortable Seating, Cargo Utility Area, Good Ride, Good Performance (especially considering its intent), Headlight Washers, Console, LED Headlights, Interior Asthetics, Build Quality, Reliability, Fun Factor, Steering Wheel Controls, Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror, MID (Multi Information Display, Dead Pedal, Nightlight on Gearshifter at Night, Cargo Organizer, Remote Engine Start, Illuminated Door Sills (quite a conversation piece), *SKS* (Smart Key System), 4-Wheel Disc Brakes and I could go on and on...Oh Yeah, I guess I have!!!

    Most - less foreign oil, lower emissions, great mileage, reliability, style, options, versatility of the hatch and back seat area.

    Least - not a dealbreaker, but the quality of the port-installed leather seats, availability of the cars, the shopping experience, and the price.

    Most - Fuel efficiency combined with versatility; the fold down seats and hatchback.

    Least - Cheap feeling plastic interior. I realize some of this may be due to paring down weight for fuel efficiency, but I think they could do better.

    Least: Rattling plastics everywhere in the interior (Never had this problem before in my 15 year driving TOYOTA's)

    Least - Being so new I am a nervious wreck driving it around. I will get over it.

    2. Power Mode - feels quick since its so light!! Sometimes I like driving it off the line after a red light in hopes people think differently about the prius' available power

    MOST: I love everything about my V and sure glad I spent the extra to get a V. All the extra options as part of the V make it a Mini Lexus! for a lot less $$$

    Most - tech (DRCC, LKA, IPA, BT, etc); FE (the game of trying to one-up your last tank); SKS (amazing)

    Least - rattles, no auto lights, people complain i drive too slow now
